GUN CONTROL.

on wednesday in my public speaking class i gave a speech on gun control. i got a B+ and i am pretty content with that. (my professor gives out + and - after his letter grades.... and he also does smileys. i love college. but not really.) anyway, the reason i am telling you this is so i can share some wonderful videos with you.

dear everyone, tyler allen is officially 25. how gross. his birthday was the 10th... and i'm sort of maybe just getting to it. want to know what we did? well..... i had work till three and tyler was SUPPOSED to have class till 8:30 but i convinced him to leave around 6 or so. it was awesome. i love to spend time with him because i hardly ever get to. i'm so devious and mischievous and cool...ous? anyway.... the night of tyler's birthday we went to joes with pat, richard, and matt. it was soooooper tasty!! then that weekend my parent's took us to red robin then to krispy kreme. it was a blast. i had a ball (my mom always says that when she gets back from garaging)

We are in...

Week 2 at my parents house is just about to end. it hasn't been bad at all! its actually kind of nice because tyler is gone from 6:00 AM to either 7:30 or 9:00 PM everyfreakingday except the weekends. so its nice because i just get to hang out with my mom/siblings instead of sitting at home bored after work and school. we have not finished putting all the nasty crap back into the apartment :( . i'm telling you, the room we stored their stuff in reaks of death. i wish you could all experience it. so tomorrow it will be finished. i'm determined.

halloweenie is coming. i want to dress up but i do not know what to be. any ideas???
its sad because all of the cool looking girl costumes are slutty. halloween is a chance to show your true colors and so many people are just skanky skanks. it is truly unfortunate. speaking of slutty girl costumes.... THIS IS FUNNY!

you ruined my life. just kidding. but seriously, i expected much more. but not really. none of the newer harry potter movies have been good. they've lost their magic. hermione was wearing designer jeans. and she is BEAUTIFUL. wtf, man? when did this happen? also... WAAAAAAY too much focus on the love stories. not enough darkness and magic. and slughorn should've been someone else. oh and also, i do not like the dumbledore that has been in the last three videos. i don't know his name. it should not be dumbledore though. he is way too energetic and spastic. mostly i just think harry is a stinker. that is all.

Am i right???

i had a girls night with some of my gal palzzz the other month. it was fun. it is strange though, because i would much rather spend my time with tyler. i guess i love him or something. those are the pictures we took. i think we've lost all of our creativity. but we are still awesome.. so its all good. we ate some mexican food at this place called julios. it really wasn't that good. shawni and alex are in love with the place. they are just freaks though. i prefer gecko grill. mmmmmm.

School

i recently decided to go into elementary ed. why? mostly because i have no idea what else i would do. right now i am taking two education courses at mcc. i don't know if i like them quite yet. i am still deciding. but having this experience will definitely be worthwhile. i'm not sure if i will want my children to go into public schooling if it has become completely psycho. the only reason i don't like home schooling is because it seems to make children socially awkward. tyler and i are cool enough to help our kids out of the awkwardness. he he. but seriously. by the time we have kids (which will not be for another two years at least) who knows what the schooling systems will be like. we'll have to wait and see. we'll also have to wait and see if i continue in the course of elementary ed. 

ooooh, i also started my new job this week. i am a preschool aid for my aunt christie. she teaches two different classes out of her garage (which looks like a legit schoolroom) she has an am and pm class. 3-4 year-olds. it is fun. and very entertaining. oh, and exhausting.

i haven't been wearing my retainer lately. i wonder if my implants can move? weird. i hope not. anyway... bye.

a new name

Becky Allen. gross. it is such a cookie-cutter name. good thing i'm awesome and i give the name spunk. just joking. but seriously. don't get me wrong, the Allen family is wonderful. No offense guys, please don't cry. it is nothing personal. he hehe.

i think i slept too much. whoops!

Tyler & i gave our talks in church last week. while we were on the stand we were introduced to the ward as new members AND we got our new calling... drum roll please... GOSPEL DOCTRINE TEACHERS. ahhhhh!!!!!!!!! if i wasn't team teaching with Tyler i think i would have cried. i'm sure it will be a wonderful experience... or something :)

Marriage

it has almost been a whole month. nuts, huh?? time goes by at a ridiculous speed. we've been busy cleaning and getting settled in our apartment(which we are renting from an elderly couple who are on a mission till december).  i will post pictures of the apartment before and after. man... the place was awful, but we are getting a smokin' deal. $400/month. can you believe it? we are quite fortunate. ANYWAY, this is our blog. i highly doubt Tyler will get on here, so you will all have the pleasure of hearing from me.

Becky still hasn't found a job. disgusting, i tell you. if i don't find one soon i am going to blow my bloody brains out. if anyone knows of anything... PLEASE, PLEASE inform me. thank you.

marriage is fun. interesting, and completely different than what i was expecting, but still wonderful. i've learned a lot in this short period of time and i can't wait to see what shenanigans will occur in the years to come.

our honeymoon was neat. we went to California (La Jolla & Santa Barbara) both are absolutely beautiful. La Jolla is unbelievably ritzy, but completely wonderful. if

 you ever go there, you MUST go to the Burger Lounge. in that tiny little lounge lies the most delightful burgers i've tasted in eons. mmmm...  YUM. Santa Barbara was kind of full of weirdos, but that is ok. we're all a little strange.

i miss quite a few things. i miss my 3 lovely friends. i miss being at my crowded "parents" house. i miss not having to pay for anything. i miss my scorpion-infested room. i miss having an internet connection that is secure and reliable. i miss my own toilet and shower.

i love quite a few things, as well. i love waking up next to Tyler. i love waking up whenever i feel like it. i love the feeling of being in charge of my own "domain". i love getting my back scratched every night. i love being silly 24/7 with the person i love. aw shucks, i love love.
